Post Mango works on Hisako Matsui’s film Leonie
The producers of Leonie have come to us to handle all the VFX and the offline workflow for Japanese Director Hisako Matsui’s latest masterpiece. Post Mango’s Sean Findley spent 5 weeks on location in New Orleans supervising the VFX shots and digitizing HDSR log rgb tapes and color grading them using a LUT provided by Fotokem. Award winning cinematographer Tetsuo Nagata who shot La Vie en Rose is shooting the film on kodak 500asa, Fotokem is telecining to HDSR log rgb in it’s raw color space and Post Mango is doing the rest. The footage looks amazing and we’re thrilled to be working with this Japanese team.
